Women Of The Otherworld Series Challenge Begins!

Today is the kick-off to the Women Of The Otherworld Series Challenge! If you haven’t signed up and would like to participate, just click image above to be taken to the challenge sign-up post! It is also a great reference for the details concerning this reading challenge!

Before we begin, I would like to thank all of those who have already signed up to participate in this challenge! Words cannot describe how much I appreciate you all wanting to take part in this!

CHALLENGE: MONTH ONE

BITTEN BY KELLEY ARMSTRONG

Elena Michaels is the world’s only female werewolf. And she’s tired of it. Tired of a life spent hiding and protecting, a life where her most important job is hunting down rogue werewolves. Tired of a world that not only accepts the worst in her–her temper, her violence–but requires it. Worst of all, she realizes she’s growing content with that life, with being that person.

So she left the Pack and returned to Toronto where she’s trying to live as a human. When the Pack leader calls asking for her help fighting a sudden uprising, she only agrees because she owes him. Once this is over, she’ll be squared with the Pack and free to live life as a human. Which is what she wants. Really.

March 1st – March 31st, 2012

For this month, our goal will be to read/re-read and post a review the first book in the Women Of The Otherworld series by Kelley Armstrong, Bitten.

Challenge members can either post a review, share your reading experience, create your personal character casting for Bitten, or anything else related to this title within the Woman Of The Otherworld series.
Be creative and have fun with your post!

THIS MONTH'S PRIZE:

I would like to kick-off this reading challenge by offering TWO participants any Kelley Armstrong book of their choice, in the format of their choice. This can be a pre-order of any of Kelley's upcoming releases as well. I will be using Book Depository to send the winners their prize and will be selecting the winners through Random.org.

To qualify for this month's giveaway:

You all have until March 31st to link to your reviews or posts to be included for this month’s prize.

**Please Note**: Due to high requests, if you have already read and reviewed Bitten, I will be making a special exception to allow linking to your old reviews for this book as this month's giveaway entry. However, this will be allowed for this month alone.

The giveaway winners’ names will be drawn on April 1st, 2012
(the start of month two of the reading challenge).

**If you are not able to read Bitten this month, you can post your review next month or any month throughout the entire challenge for that month's prize. You can also leave more than one link during each month of the challenge (example: if you review more that one book at a time), however, you will only have receive one entry for the monthly prize. Don't worry! All your posts will not go to waste and will ALL be counted towards the Grand Prize at the very end of the entire challenge!**

**Most importantly: You do NOT have to commit to the entire 13 month challenge; feel free to join even if you only want to participate for a few months.**

  1. Yay! I just finished listening to Bitten the other day but I still need to write my review... Looks like I'm going to have to buy the ones with the black covers after all because Audible.com has decided to stop carrying a bunch of her books. *cries*

    I can't wait to read everyone's reviews!

    2. I actually joined Audible just to listen to Bitten. All the copies of Bitten were checked out at the library and half-priced books didn't have any. I don't pay full price for books(I can't afford it at the rate I read! LOL!)so I did the free 30 day trial subscription. It was nice to listen to it while I clean and what not. :)

  10. Thanks for hosting this! It's been too long since I've read (most of) these books. I tend to only reread my favorites, since I know what happens in between.

Also, I'm glad that you're asking people to re-review books that they've already reviewed. I had already decided to do that, since my tastes and opinions change from one reading to the next.
