Calling out all Kelley Armstrong Fans!!!
Seeing as my most favorite series is coming to an end, I thought it would be a great opportunity to gather all Women of the Otherworld lovers to say goodbye and show our appreciation to such a wonderful series!
If you have not yet read Women of the Otherworld and have some of the books on your TBR shelves, this would be a great opportunity to enter Kelley Armstrong's magical world of all things paranormal and join in on this amazing adventure!
The Challenge:
Each month beginning March 1st, 2012, challenge members will read or re-read the title for that month. In addition, challenge members will either post a review, their reading experience, character castings or anything else related to that title. You have freedom to have fun with your monthly post so be creative! Seeing as this series is 13 novels long, this challenge will last 13 months.
PLEASE NOTE: **You do not have to have a blog to enter this challenge. You must, however, have a Goodreads account if you don't, so that you can link to your posts there.**
**You do not have to participate each month if you don't want to. I want this to be a fun experience for everyone so, if there only a few books you want to read, please feel free to join!**

What would a challenge be without some prizes to reward challenge members?
On the 1st of each month, beginning March 1st, 2012, there will be a post here on the blog, indicating the title challenge and giveaway prize for that month. This is where you will be able to link up your reviews/reading experience. Challenge members who successfully complete each monthly challenge will automatically entered to win that monthly giveaway!
At the very end of the challenge there will be a MEGA Prize Giveaway. Each time you enter a link throughout the challenge, this will automatically give you an additional entry. Only those who participate in the challenge and have linked to their posts will qualify to enter this giveaway.
A Personal Note:
I would like to thank all of you who enter, whether it be just for one month or for the entire challenge. Women of the Otherworld is, as I have mentioned a countless number of times, my absolute favorite series, and I really just want everyone to have fun and hopefully take away something from this!

Sweet, this is probably the only reading challenge I will enter this year. I have read the 1st 2 books, but I haven't finished the series yet. What a great way to finally finish reading the series. Hopefully be able to read 1 each month, I'm hoping so :)

@Kristina, for the very first month of the challenge (March) I will be allowing members to link up to their review of the first book in the series if they have already reviewed them prior to this challenge. However, what I would suggest you do for the second month is to create a character casting post so that you can still participate and enter in the giveaway :). Then for the other months you can submit your reviews to the rest of the series :).

ReplyDeleteI think I'll be entering when I check if I have a Goodreads account and figure it out! I love Kelley and want to do a re-read anyway so the challenge for me when I pick up Bitten will be to NOT read them all at once! I'm not sure I can make my self stick to a one a month onlt restriction but I'll try! I can always read the YA series and the novella's and anthologies in between if need be! This is a reading challenge that's right up my street!

ReplyDeleteThis is the first challenge that I'm taking part in. Like everyone else, I love Kelley Armstrong's books. I started the series. I really enjoyed the books that I've read, but never went back and finished reading the rest of them. This will give me a chance to read great books and take some books off of my tbr list at the same time. Thanks!

Well since I'm reading Bitten for a Book Club a participate in I might as well do this too and see if I like the books. My BC reunion is the last of February and because this starts in March the content of the book will be fresh. I like the idea of reading the books. What I've read so far from Bitten I like, so hopefully I'll read them all.
