Follow Friday: Genre Wars! What's your favorite genre and which book in that genre made it your favorite?
My favorite genre would definitely have to be Romance, and more specifically Paranormal Romance (Adult or Young Adult). My favorite book in this genre would have to be Kelley Armstrong's first novel in the Women of the Otherworld series - "Bitten". After reading this novel, I absolutely fell in love with the genre and really enjoyed reading all the novels in her series so far. A MUST READ!
Living in Toronto for a year, Elena is leading the normal life she has always dreamed of, including a stable job as a journalist and a nice apartment shared with her boyfriend. As the lone female werewolf in existence, only her secret midnight prowls and her occasional inhuman cravings set her apart. Just one year ago, life was very different. Hi, I have to say contemporary romance is my first love but I recently bought and read Divine by Mistake by PC Cast and liked it. Also read Sylvia Day's Catching Caroline and I have to say I've caught the bug or should i say I've been bitten. lol.

Paranormal romance sure is popular today, but I can understand why because I like it too. I just tend more toward the YA side instead of the adult side. :)

ReplyDeleteI love paranormal romance! My favorite series is probably Gena Showalter's Lords of the Underworld, but I am hoping to start getting into Kelley Armstrong. I've recently seen so many people raving about her (adult) fantasy stuff!
