Entwined is a remarkable debut that incorporates magic, romance, and humor. I gave Entwined by Heather Dixon an overall rating of 5/5 as I truly enjoyed every aspect of this novel. I recommend Entwined to those who enjoy Young Adult fiction, fairy tales, and magic.
Synopsis (Source: Goodreads): Azalea is trapped. Just when she should feel that everything is before her . . . beautiful gowns, dashing suitors, balls filled with dancing . . . it's taken away. All of it.
The Keeper understands. He's trapped, too, held for centuries within the walls of the palace. And so he extends an invitation.

I recently read this book--I can't say it's one of my top favorites, but I did love the fact it was based on The Twelve Dancing Princesses. I hadn't seen that one before!
